Sexual Harassment Policy

Louisiana's Cajun Bayou Tourism strictly prohibits sexual harassment of any team member by another team member, supervisor or third party. Sexual harassment may include: unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors, and/or verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature including, but not limited to sexual-related drawings, picture, jokes, teasing, uninvited touching or other sexually-related comments.
The conduct prohibited by policy includes but is not limited to e-mails, voice mails, chat rooms, Internet use or history, text message, pictures, images, writing and words of gesture.

Sexual harassment of a team member will not be tolerated. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. There will be no adverse action taken against a team member who reports a violation of this policy in good faith or participates in the investigation of such violation.
All complaints will be promptly and thoroughly investigated as confidentially as possible. Any team member who believes that s(he) is a victim of sexual harassment should immediately report such actions in accordance with the following procedure.

Any team member who believes that s(he) is a victim of sexual harassment or has been retaliated against for filing a sexual harassment complaint, should report the situation immediately to one of the following members of management who have been designed to receive such complaints:
The President & CEO or any member of the Executive Committee of the Board.

• The organization will investigate every reported incident immediately. Any team member, supervisor, agent or the organization who has been found to have violated this policy may be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including immediate discharge.
• The organization will conduct all investigations in a discreet manner. The organization recognizes that every investigation requires a determination based on all the facts in the matter. We also recognize the serious impact a false accusation can have. We trust that all team members will continue to act responsibly.
